I heard the Estelon 2018. They made it into my “great” section.

The Vivid made it one higher into my “magic” section in 2019.

And there are many good and well regarded speakers I never heard really convincing in shows, like Magico and except for exceptions even Wilson. Probably that’s less due to the absolute speaker quality than due to the care taken with setup and combination at shows. IMO It’s often especially disadvantageous when distributors combine their stuff instead of the right stuff.
