I should have put something in the photo for a sense of scale, it’s huge. The Dimensions are 85.5 " W x 21.5 " H x 22 " D.

Between Two Channel and Home Theater, it’s going to be full.

Hey vkennedy…

Are you singlehandedly wrestling this beaautiful piece? or do you have assitance?
It looks pretty heavy…what is the weight?

Best wishes

With the tube base that we added it comes in around 275lbs. The local dealer I ordered it is delivering it right into our living room. After that it’s all me installing the gear. I wouldn’t want anyone else doing the installation. Even thought there’s cutouts between each section, I am going to do my best to run separate looms for power and audio. Once the shelves are in place I am going to use velco straps with grommets in each shelf bay to run bundles across the back. I ordered extra H/W to attach the grommet to the adjustable rails. I am hoping it’s going to be neat and tidy. I don’t intend on installing the rear panels so cable bundles won’t be a problem.

Very nice, I know it has been a struggle, but it looks sharp.

I am especially pleased now that I know that the tops and sides are “skins” and are replaceable. The doors use a standard Blum-style hinge which will really help with new doors as our taste changes.

I also had the bottom fitted with EZ LOC’s if I decide to remove the tube frame and go with oversized castors. I tried to get something that we can adapt with us.

That is some serious stand that’s only designed for audiophile! I may need one soon since my gears are growing. Still, I may just need a 1/2 size of what you have.

Welcome to paralysis by analysis:

Only to be worsened since they will customize most of the cabinets, plus there’s a bunch of accessories.

Great! Another thing added to my wish list.

I have two Salamander Design rack systems in my home. One for my home theater setup, and one that used to be used for my main system before I lost my mind. It currently is used for storage of two turntables, an Oppo, and all sorts of pieces of this and that. And $30k worth of cables I don’t need but won’t sell. It’s pretty furniture and I am a huge fan. The Artesania Audio rack systems I use for my main system now don’t look nearly as nice but they offer a major benefit in sound at only ten times the price.

Mission accomplished. P20 ordered.

I use a Salamander Hampton 339. My wife likes it because it looks like furniture. I like it because it’s a very sturdy rack system with flexible shelf arrangements.

It’s funny that you posted about Artesania. The Organic racks were my first choice before I was informed that open racking was verboten.

I went with a modified version of the Barcelona Black 247. Had the sides cut flush to the cabinet, tube base installed, fitting for casters for the future, and extra shelves. I avoided some of the other items like IR repeaters, power distro, fans, etc…

This will do the trick.

Just picked up a single M700 from an ex-PSA dealer in Hollywood, FL. It was 40% off of list. The price was so good I paid for next day. It’s going to do Center Channel duties for our Focal Sopra Center. I’ve been driving it with our Anthem AVR, but it’s a bit anemic. I am hoping the M700 opens it up and enhances dialog. It’s a bit mushy now.

I’m impatiently waiting for the octave streamer/server to replace my aged squeezebox touch.

The good news is how much value you got out of the squeezebox. I do understand your impatience. Once I have my sights set on something I’m like a kid a few days before Christmas, full of anticipation. Especially since you can pretty much guarantee the Octave family is going to sound awesome.

Momma’s got a squeezebox she wears on her chest, and when Daddy comes home he never gets no rest, 'cause she’s playing all night and the music’s alright…
