Many thanks to Craig_Burgess. Just acquired his Marantz SACD n30.
Not on the level of some of you true high-end guys, but a very nice addition and upgrade for me. Mostly a CD guy, but I can now explore SACD as well as streaming options.
To me it’s all about the music. The better the player, the better the listening experience. Looking forward to even more access to new artists and material.

I have a recurring reminder set on my phone to turn on my system at 5 PM. Often my wife will already have it on, but when she doesn’t I am happy to be reminded. The C4 app let’s me power it up from my phone. Handy if I am preoccupied in my office.

Next upgrade incoming! I’ve sold a Chord Qutest and Townshend Allegri+, plus the interconnect between them, and replaced it with a Chord Hugo TT2 that will perform both DAC and preamp functions. It should arrive next week.
Also in my letterbox today was a Telos X2 fuse for my Innuos Zen MK3 streamer. Wow. My first try of an audiophile fuse and I must say I’m impressed. There’s a SR Orange on the way, too, so I’ll be able to nerd out blissfully comparing them.

My latest upgrade has been a Purple fuse in my PerfectWave SACD transport.
A definite improvement. Enjoying the sound despite a few wobbly “burn-in” moments.

My next upgrade won’t be upgrading my KEF Reference 1s to metas. My local dealer said he would make it painless to upgrade, he and I have VERY different definitions of painless.

After my comment earlier today about my local dealer and I having a different understanding of painless, I reached out to another local KEF Elite dealer (nice to live in a large market) and was able to negotiate a much less painful deal. Not sure when they arrive, shipments are backlogged like everything else. I bought, what was to be, their demo model. Looks like new KEF Reference 1 metas ARE in my near future.

I had a chance to pick up a blue pair with stands for $1399. I nearly went for it.
I assume we’re talking about different speakers, or your deal was really incredible. KEF Reference 1 metas list for $9K without stands.

What finish did you get?
An apple TV and Shunyata power cable and WireWorld PS7 HDMi and well placed 3M absorber squares will surprise you for movies and music.
An apple TV in our house would surprise me for movies and music.
