I have the Series 2 Iconoclast speaker cables. They are a marked improvement in SQ from the Series 1 and they were really, really good. Due to supply chain issues Series 2 are only available in TPC at this time.

I have a “previously loved” Revelation Audio Labs HDMI cable soon to be winging its way across the sea to me.
Apparently, it fell victim to the best in class AQ Dragon — poor thing/lucky me.
Looking forward to putting it through its paces and hearing if it really is “all that and a bag of chips”.

I have two of them that are useless to me as they don’t pass video. I may give one to my little brother and the other to one of you. Or keep it in the museum of steps upward and onward. I should just give it to 1cdfoley and he can put it between his PST and DAC. Right of first refusal at least.

You can always split audio and video if your processor has input. I have a couple of the boxes that strip ot 7.1 audio.
I know. But there are people who would appreciate them in their audio only state. HDMI is spelled Dragon now.

An isolation platform find from US audiomart via Canada. I am a big fan of all Symposium products. These Quantum platforms have a unique design and are very heavy. Guessing overkill for amp stands but the price was to good to pass up.

I have to admit something to y’all. I have been badmouthing MAC’s as music servers since the Apple II. Yesterday I ordered a 2015 MacBook Pro SSD for basically $600. It’s a refurb from Woot.

Jeremy Bryan from MBL has been streaming from his laptop with it connected to the MBL DAC via an AQ Carbon USB cable. Paul and I tried a Stealth and thought oh hell yeah but Jeremy is Stealth Intolerant. He took it out immediately. Tubas sound like flutes or something like that.
Anyway, he explained the 2015 laptop, that exact model is just magical with AudioNirvana, an upgrade version. I believe my ears. So I have done the unthinkable, something I never ever thought I would do. I am attempting to turn pink. I ordered a MAC. I deserve cruel treatment for this.
But even if it rocks hard in a funky place I can use my fuse thoughts and just say I can’t hear it, it isn’t all that. But I won’t do that if it really is. Egg on my face perhaps.

Ha, now you have me reconsidering as I have a MacBook Pro SSD from 2015 that died a horrible death, battery went first, then the SSD gave up the ghost. It currently in in mothballs.
It was fun while it lasted. Basically a daily driver with a MacMini driving the cottage system from a digital perspective. I anticipate that will change very soon.

It’s about time. I use a 2015 MacBook Pro as my server, and I think it sounds great. Granted I’ve never tried anything else so maybe my judgment is a bit skewed.

Update! Finally received and assembled the pARTicular equipment rack. Very impressed by the quality of materials and looks. I will say I feel like I am testing the limits of weight and will probably upgrade to one of their suspension systems in the future. This is part of they basic system and is very expandable. I spoke with the owner Volkmar Drubbisch and he is a wealth of information and totally plugged into high end audio. He also designs some damn fine furniture! Here are some shots. Still haven’t figured out where to put my antenna…Uh oh yet another upgrade…new antenna next!

Small correction. Jeremy is using a Audioquest Diamond USB not Carbon. The strange thing with that is MBL is a big Wire World supporter. I had the AQ Diamond and changed to the WW Platinum Starlight 8 which IMO is a better USB cable.
