I love my Bose Quit Comfort for traveling and Bose Sound system in the car. That have a valued place in the market.
I am a Sony guy, their headphones with noise cancellation are heavenly when I am flying.
I use the sony noise canceling Bluetooth headset. The refurbished one from sony warranty center are an absolute bargain. Plus the have an 8 hour battery life. I had bose earbuds before prefer Sony and it’s equalization and 360 degree sound through Tidal but Qobuz is good too

It’s a long clip but very interesting, takes quite a team to assemble, I was nervous when they were trying to get up only one step and a threshold, forget about full on stairs

P.S. I told my gf that I just watched an hour long video of a pair of speakers being set up (hey, she asked) she just shook her head in a “thats pathetic” way an walked away. I’m starting to think she doesn’t fully understand me

Also a fan of Sony’s Bluetooth/noise cancelling. The wind reduction feature in particular is a godsend.
Have to agree with the Sony on a plane theme. Love them when traveling.
I travel with Campfire Andromeda. When I ignore you, I want to enjoy it.
A little impulse purchase on US Audio Mart. Long term will make a more detailed comparison of the Gryphon Ethos vs the MBL 1621 Transport and the MBL 1611 F Dac (waiting for proper upgrade and cabling). Right now the MBL 1611 E is not competitive with the Ethos. The Gryphon sure looks cool.
So I am 5 CDs into this experience and the excerpt from the attached article is spot on
“The Gryphon Ethos player makes CD sound a lot like high-resolution audio is supposed to sound. It’s impressively clean (yet less bright and forward than people expect), remarkably dynamic and extremely extended into the upper and lower registers. Around about five discs in, you begin to ask yourself whether audio took a massive wrong turn by going down the streaming route when Compact Disc really can sound this good”
I will be collecting and storing CDs from all my friends basements and attics. Fun stuff indeed.

It’s the same as Al’s…at a better price point. Chris LaPlante the owner of Mount Rose Music is selling a bunch of high end gear on US Audio Mart at very fair prices. Essentially dealer prices.
