I will need jumper cables to use with my bi-wire System, so I will not be able to do any direct comparisons to my Stealth cables for the time being. Thanks!
I plan on using Blue jeans cable for now and shall see what the SI1 brings to the sound improvement now. Funds are limited and need to use them judiciously!
I replaced my thick green carpet with a bigger and thicker green carpet. Okay, it is a synthetic putting green (Thanks to Amazon prime day
). My golf game has improved greatly this month so I figure the putting is the area I could improve more.
Yes, the green speed is more lifelike compared to my old one, and I can almost say the music is more lifelike too. My wife does not think so, but I am trying hard to keep the new carpet in the room.
Really nice room, Brian. Are those Atmos speakers in the ceiling?
ā Chris
Yeah itās a full 7.4.6 setup. The fronts are shared and have 2 12ā subs via high level. The theater had two dedicated dual 15ā rythmiks. That is an acoustically transparent screen with diffusers behind it. The room is set up primary for 2 ch which really helps the theater too.
Keep us updated on the Acoras as they take shape. Great that someone here has pulled in the MRC3s into their system! Congrats!
I bought used. So no breakin needed. So far so good loving them.
Those look vaguely like the ones at last yearās CAF.
I just scored five used Synergistic High Definition ground cables for my Active Ground Block SX, to upgrade some of the Foundation and Basic ground cables already in place, which will be redeployed somewhere else or sold off. Two will be for my new SRX power cables feeding the AGD amps, two for the SRX interconnects between the BACCH-SP adio and the AGD amps, and one for the ground lug on one of my Fyne F703s, soon to be replaced by the F703SP models. Yee haw!!!
I was experiencing troublesome resonances in that corner. With a DAAD3, they disappeared. I now have greater clarity without altering the tonal balance, as well as tighter bass. The DAAD3 stands 110 cm tall with a diameter of 28 cm; it features one absorptive side and one reflective side, allowing for some adjustment to the existing acoustics.
One will be fine. You will be pleasantly suprised at the improvement an F12 brings. Is there a possibility that going from 1 subs to 2 subs makes a bigger improvement than going from 0 to 1? I do not know, but going from 0 to 1 is quite nice.
Thatās a great point Paul, Iām betting one is better than none.![]()
Start with one, then add one more. Eventually get a six-pack for the ultimate enjoyment.
No sub hole for me to dig even if I am suffering from potential better-balanced SQ that I did not know is lacking now.![]()
Your great help Donald!
. The only six-pack Iām getting is of ice cold beer. If I canāt set one up and forget it, Iāll send it back or use it just for moviesā![]()
A sub will improve your system. Even with how good your system is, a sub really opens things up. Either PS Audio or REL (high level connection from the amp outputs if choose REL)
I will do 10 cable upgrades before a sub. and I know one sub will improve SQ more than my next $50k worth of cabling too. But since I am very happy with my cables, I donāt see a sub coming soon. No sub, then no black boxes, bass columns, traps, electronic bass balancing gear, or whatever the next thing needed. I am sad lately after wife told me staying with low 60 db. for my remaining time with the system since I turned up volume too many times. Really sad!
This is our house rule that shall not be broken, or I will loose our happy life. ![]()
But I am quite happy with the system SQ so I lost urge of upgrading, and that is not limited to sub either.
There is already a version two. This is them. The old ones had a Gruv where the panels met. They have removed them and have a smooth all around look now. Much nicer. Thatās part of the 4000 price increase. Tariffs and inflation the rest. I was lucky to find these used for a very low price.
Beautiful! Those were on my short list for my recent upgrade.
