In the past, PS has stated not to use mconnect for Airlens updates…
If you do a search for airlens on YouTube, Aaron walks you right through it. It’s so great.

Not been paying much attention to my airlens even though it will not be able to retire until the streamer bugs in the PMG 512 get fixed. That said, I noticed recently that Roon now gives me the option to control volume (and it works). I2S into the 512 and changing the volume with Roon does not affect the displayed 100 volume on the DAC. Can not check the firmware version as briefly pushing the button does nothing (although a long press initiats a firmware check/update cycle).
