We made what I think is a big improvement to the forums. If you go to the forum home page you’ll notice the order of the forums changes dynamically now, with the forum receiving the latest post being on top, the second newest post below that and so forth. It really is nice IMHO.
Once you get used to it, let us know what you think.
I like the idea, but it is not happening as of now. The main page still has non-chronological listing. I’m reading this on an iPad with Safari, if that matters.
I tried logging in from my computer rather than my iPad, and I now see the new arrangement by most recent date. Don’t know why the iPad does not show this.
But–on my computer the section below the list of forums, where I have seen recently updated/unread posts, has now disappeared. Was this removed in the belief that users could find new posts just by looking at the now-chronological list of forums?
Well I noticed that I cant find a freaking thing and have no idea where I left off reading b4 the change. I also notice much less posting om topics that were on fire previously, likely because everyone has the same problem as me.

Umm, did something change that stopped you from knowing Woot? I am confused. The only thing that changed was the chronological sort order of the forums and posts in the main page of the forums and each forum itself. The actual forum posts, subjects and ordering should not have changed.
If we are referring to the same thing, this is what I am using and it still works fine.
Unfortunately, fairly regularly it identifies threads to which new posts have been made without a “new” button to take me to the latest unread post. I then simply go to the last page of the thread and find what is new.
OK, I figured out if you click on the text on the right it takes you to where you left off, but it pauses at the first page, which I would then click on the last page to take me where I needed to go. I now realize just WAIT a second and it will take me to the correct spot, so kudos to that.
I do however miss the quote boxes. 'Specially without the post boxes.
