Not in the 13th
And not in the 14th
Maybe in the bottom of the 17th???
Didnât like the result but got two very different great games in 1. In a game full of moments and personal bests, Kershaw was fortunate to have preserved his legacy in front of the home crowd. The outcome could have been very different if not for a weak grounder on ball 4 to the one batter he faced in a bases loaded 3-2 drama.
Interesting how the color guy (Fox) kept talking about temperatures when hits werenât topping the wall. True but they seemed to dwell.
I was hoping for an even 20 innings.
There were 10 scoreless innings in a row, starting with the 8th inning They had to talk about something, lol
Am I the only one having serious problems understanding the Fox analystsâ dialog? Itâs like poorly mixed HT that makes dialog indecipherable. Thereâs way too much of the stadium noise overwhelming the analysts. Itâs as if they were literally sitting in the stands.
Itâs the same with their NFL coverage but just the opposite. It sounds like the announcers are locked in a soundproof room somewhere and you get very faint sounds of the crowd getting into the game or the on-field action. CBS has the better audio but my team is primarily covered by FOX.
Great series if you are a baseball fan.
Disappointed with the result but it was a good series. I just think a Jays championship would have been better for baseball.
Maybe Iâll take advantage of the extra hour tonight and listen to some bluesâŠ
I had a gut feeling Los Angeles would win once it crossed into extra innings. Some really fantastic plays tonight.
@allan.thunes I agree a Toronto victory would have been better for the sport.
Pitchers and catchersâŠmid February â26!
Great game, and series, but an incredibly disappointing result.
Should be an interesting offseason.
Dodgers were 9-1 going into this World Series and Toronto gave them everything they could handle and more, even being outscored 34-26, but they gutted it out and are now back to back champs.
Well deservedâŠlove 'em or hate 'em, IMO.
That was a great World Series.
They spent huge in the past few years to acquire Ohtani and Yamamoto, and it turned out to be the best moves. I even watched Game 7 (I am a SF Giants fan, but that was a great game okay
).
Yamamotoâs arm is going to be in pain for a few days. Lucky for him there are no more games until next spring.
Will Canada ever have second MLB team again or will it eternally just be Toronto?
