It installed without any issues. No noticeable difference in sound from v. 2.9.3. Only thing is that I am not getting album covers appearing (I just left in the SD card with the firmware files).

Same Feedback except album covers are working perfectly.
The static IP still doesn’t work but I assume the is part of the Bridger update to come

Try removing the SD card and deleting all the files off of it then reinserting it.
Static IP should work, they are working on my unit at home.

From my perspective everything seems to be working great, including the ability to change the Bridge Text name and have it stick

OK for the Junior…Dennis had me do a couple of forced loads…one for DSJR94 and another for the BridgeII update from Windows (via the LAN interface)
so far so good…I have posted a request for a PS Audio thread in the RoonLabs forums just now too. Hope they can fix the uncertified indication soon

It looks like you need to update to the latest version of Roon, the uncertified is fixed.

Just downloaded the new Bride II firmware on my DirectStream. Installation was easy and Roon identified the Directstream without a hitch. I bought into Roon a few months ago so this new connectivity will allow me to bypass the Apple TV which was the compromise I was using. Thanks PS Audio and Dennis. Sounds great too!
I was having a little trouble with my DLNA setup and in my troubleshooting I found out about PWD firmware 2.9.7 by looking around various forum topics. I know I don’t need it until I get ROON but the firmware update is not listed on the Downloads section so I’m wondering why not?
It seems to me a better organized Downloads page which CLEARLY shows the latest firmware for all your great devices (and advice on who needs it) would be useful as a handy reference point for all your customers.
It appreciate your thoughts.

I agree wholeheartedly. took me a long time to find the proper firmware. a bit of tidying up that page, with a wee bit of explanation would be prudent.
