I am confused about the exact grounding configuration of the S-300 amp. Polk SDA speakers require an amp that has both negative terminal to be a ground. I don’t think the S-300 meet this requirement. Can someone please definitively tell me if I can use my S-300 with my Polk SDA-2s?
As a general rule Class D amps negative terminals do not offer true ground. There are ways around it if you want to use one.
Dawkins is correct. The negative terminal on the S300 is not a true ground. Very common with class D amps. A work around option would be to use a chassis screw instead. A little weird but would work.
