Comparing I2S and RCA digital concurrently?

Hello,

The other day I was told it would be okay to run both RCA and XLR digital cables to A-B them but can I do the same with RCA digital and I2S connections at the same time to A-B the two formats of connections? I was so impressed with my upgraded silver RCA that I’ve purchased a Wireworld Platinum Starlight 7 HDMI cable. May I run it concurrently with my RCA digital?

You can connect multiple digital outs from your source to multiple digital ins of your DAC without harming anything. However, the best comparison is made by connecting only one cable at a time.
