DMP - I2S connection -> how to connect to 2 different DAC

I have a DSD and DENAFRIPS DAC.
I would like to connect my DMP to both DAC using I2S so that I can compare the SQ of the 2 different DAC. (for 2 channel audio)

Would a simple HDMI 1-2 splitter works?
DMP I2S out to splitter HDMI in. Splitter HDMI out A to DSD and Out B to DENAFRIPS DAC?

Any advise whether the above connection will work?

Yes that should work, only one unit at a time by switching from A to B.
