I might have strange things covered in my DAC tweaking trick book. I finally got around to using a USB shorting plug tying pins,2, 3 and 4 on DS I. Oh man is that unit quieter now. Plus I got a external LPS as well as 4400 transformers. I will have HDMI shoring plug for the DS I so it will be fun to see how much better Ted made this unew unit than tweaked DS.

If you want it dropped at a specific location that is service center they just change the Sales Order.

I was going to drop in Lundahl’s before Thanksgiving. I am glad I held off. I think they will go to DSII if I find need for more and TSS is a long road.

The price of admission might be too much if too soon. I have Iconoclast SPTPC series II speaker cables in pipeline too. I wonder which II arrives first?

The MkII is a big stretch for me, but may want to do it at some point. Waiting anxiously on the sidelines to hear reports of modded MkI vs MKII. Judging by what Ted has said, I am pretty sure I know what I am going to see posted on this board within the next month.
We do use USPS for smaller items such as Octave records, parts, and other misc items.
Fedex is used for most of the big stuff!

Oh NO!! My USPS tracking number could be for the three Octave SACDs I ordered. It may have nothing to do with DS MK2.

Hey, that’s not so bad, the new Octave recordings are phenomenal. I just got 3 for the prize of 2 sale going on now, 3 DSD256 files from Octave and am really enjoying them right now.

Have you ordered anything form Octave Records? I have and they have always used USPS for that. They have never used USPS for equipment and I cannot imagine them doing so with an $8000 DAC.
