I’d like to hear more from the designer(s) on the analog stage design, associated power supply(s), etc. and how they were updated to capture all the digital improvements Ted Smith has provided for.

Are you talking about the Mk II? I am the designer of the boards in the Mk II. I did implement the USB receiver section and the Ethernet section to PS Audio’s expectations, but everything else is from my head, my schematics and I laid out the boards.

I put in FPGA code to notice that an input had gone away (which the DS ignored) and that ended up having the unexpected side effect of some ticks and pops, but those will be going away with the next FPGA release.
