Two days round the clock playback completed on my MKII so far. No halting problems. Could some of the official beta folks comment, was the halting problem when using USB? I mostly am running AES with Christmas music for my mom. Molly Johnsonās Itās A Snow Globe World keeps both of us happy. But I ran techno overnight on USB non-stopā¦ at least it was still thumping lightly on low-low volume when I got up.
@luca.pelliccioli There are two separate files for the update (1) the firmware to 2.3.3 and (2) the FPGAs to 179 Antero. Various PS Audio folks are going on holiday or are under the stormy weather. I can email the files and instructions if you need āem, when you are back.

Thank you Donald, first night at the cabin in the mountains and Iām already missing it (a bottle of Amarone Valpolicella under the snow can help a lot mitigating my audiophile āsaudadeā). Just kidding (in case my wife ever read this accidentally).
Yesterday evening I played them together, Statement + PhoenixNET, see comment above. Really really impressed. Canāt wait coming back home. Just kiddingā¦ once again!
As for burning in time needed I have to patient, Mundorf Caps I already experienced usually take a looot, going up and down. I appreciate this as process, not a waste of time.

I am gather information from you for my future improvement! Streamer chain may be the next. Once younger daughter is out of college then I can have some spared change for potential improvement in future.

Ah ah ahā¦ do you remember a few months ago when I told you I would never have stopped to listen to records? I still love them and they will never go in a garage collecting dust! They easily can collect dust with me now and forever in my listening room!

Kidding apart the last vinyl I played was the recent edition of Kind of Blues 45 rpm on October, you should really try again the joy and beauty of this media at that level. Glorious and unbelievable, no one digital format canā¦ bla bla bla, you know.
Unfortunately after I had to stand up from the couch 5 times in less than one hour I switched back to Qobuz. Iām getting older and streaming is making me lazy! Umph!

After your Statement is done with break in, let us know what you think when comparing it to PST. My little streamer has improved to close to PST level when the DS MK2 is added. But it is a lot cheaper. Your streaming chain has exceeded the PST in terms of cost, so it is interesting to know if it is even better than PST playing SACD now.

The DSD256 of steak at Christmas time means roasting a standing rib roast of Elk. A benefit of living in the Pacific Northwest. I donāt think Iāve had smoked Elk.

This place has Elk jerky. I havenāt had any but their beef jerky is awesome.
