Does the Perfect Wave Transport play SACD‘s?

Hi all, I just bought a PS Audio Direct Stream DAC MKII and i am very happy with it. Yesterday I got the opportunity to buy a Perfect Wave Transport (build 2016). As I do have about 20 SACD‘s I am thinking about buying it and connect it via I2S to my MKII. Unfortunately I did not find anything about the Transport if it plays SACD‘s. Only if yes it will make sense to buy it. Can anyone help me ? Thank you

PerfectWave Transport (PWT) is a redbook/CD transport. Only the later two versions, DirectStream Memory Player (DMP) and PerfectWave SACD Transport (PST) can play SACD.

Actually the original PWT will also play high res and dop(dsd) files recorded on a dvd as well as redbook cd’s. It will not play the dsd layer of an SACD.

The original PWT will quickly load a dvd recorded with either high rez pcm or dop dsd in 10 seconds. Same as a cd!
The PST will play a dvd with high rez pcm or dop dsd but takes 41 seconds to load the disk!
