why can’t i play DSD files on Roon with DS DAC with Bridge there are all dsd 64 and Roon is turning then into PCM files ?

Make sure you have fixed volume set.

Yes, it should play the DSD files without issue. As Dennis suggests, make sure the fixed volume is at 100.

I had this problem even with fixed volume and found that power cycling the DS (with the button on the back) got it straightened out. While it was misbehaving, there were a couple other oddities (even though other files seemed to play fine): the volume showed something like 500 on a scale of 1 to 100 and the Roon client didn’t recognize the DS as a verified endpoint. But after the reboot, all was great. And it’s been fine ever since.

Not seeing the bridge as a Roon certified endpoint can be a firewall issue in Windows too…maybe mac also but I had issues with Windows, despite having the Roon apps added in the allow setups, turning off the firewall seemed to normalize things.
