Two of my network players occasionally drop the handshake with the DirectStream DAC. They see the DAC but no sound. After wasting hours trying to troubleshoot I found a thread that recommended flipping the power switch in back to reinitialize the DSD.
Voila.
This occurs with USB to USB and USB to Amenro to i2s. Interestingly it HAS NOT happened (yet) with USB to Topping D10s to SPDIF coax or toslink.
In any event of no sound try this first.
