Thanks for the link. I have been meaning to visit. Seems that they admit still working on DAC compatibility with Native DSD files. Not just PS Audio. Guess I will stick with DoP for a bit. No biggie. No popping and I am happy.

One other thing. I cannot get Roon to see the storage in the share on the EverSolo. I have tried all the combos and variants of what it says. Nothing. @aangen was there anything special you did to have roon use the local storage? Not sure why I am hung up on that but I got the storage I should try.

I have a NAS that Roon uses so I didn’t try to point at the A6. Im guessing you should try to get the IP address of the Internal drive and point Roon at \209.98.xx.xx\something\ and see if that works.

I think when reportedly highly rated stuff is reasonably priced, you just gotta (want to) try it. :relieved:

But does Roon see Eversolo?

The reason I installed the M2 drive on mine was to easily test the sound of the Eversolo Music Player software without Roon. I also intend to move the Eversolo up to the lake and not use Roon.

If you can connect to the internal drive on the Eversolo via Windows or Mac, so can Roon.

Good idea. Have not done that yet. I think it may be my kooky Melco router. I have seen it so funny things on the streamer side of its outputs.

I must say I am digging this remote with Roon integration. Power on and play pause skip etc on the remote that works with Roon. Very nice for $12.

I just want the remote so I can power on without having to push in the volume knob. It’s kind of stiff and it moves off my isolation feet every time I use it.

I have. A bit. Not a ton. Have not had much time. They are similar in sound. I think the sound stage of the eversolo is wider. But really have not done much to compare. Will try before I sell red.

But as far as features ease of use the Eversolo wins by a mile or two. Add in this remote and value for $ the eversolo wins.
