Sorry about the Ted P I know it’s a good choice. I looked at his stuff for another application. If he’s shipping from Israel he and company may be in peril. My LHY A6 kit from Monsieur Chee will be here today. It took 4 days from the time they shipped. I’ll force any mechanics like screws, bolts and ribbon cables I can when installing it and when the thing burns down the county I’ll post here first! Chee really brings it!!
My LHY was supposed to ship mid october. Saw email showing about 100 ready. They probably do it like others and need to fill 1/2 or full container.

I installed the LHY A6 power supply upgrade. It’s of course well made and the install is as the video illustrates so if you like to fiddle flap around a wee-it’s a fun pleasure. No smoke so far but I’ll check the temp in an hour or so and I’ll critically listen later to see if I can smell a more open black smokiness.

Yeah, I have installed these SC Pure clocks. The change reminded me of putting in Iconoclast XLR interconnects for the first time. But care should be taken if your system is already in the dead neutral center. It can sound too much of a good thing.
These took a good 2.5 weeks to settle.

I am not really too worried about it. I was just surprised. No big deal.
We all been waiting for your experience. If better than sliced bread or sweeter than milk toast? Or maybe just soggy.
It is going into my most favorite device. After I get the new power supply it is going into my main system for extended testing. What amuses me is how good it stands up with its DAC. Most amusing.
I hope, one of these days, they create a product that cost $3883. Think of how good that would be. You really should get one.

I have experience with such things. I fear them.
A long time ago I talked some people into doing our own tv show on public TV. In the city of Bloomington Minnesota. Our host, I schitt you not, was Tom Arnold. The one who married Rosanne. He was a hoot.
Anyway, on an early episode we had a medium booked. She was in the studio where I was trying to be useful. She walks up to me and says she really needs to talk to me, it’s urgent. So we step out and she asks me no questions, she just starts spewing information. Most of it was spot on. But it was all in the future and it all happened.
I did go to Taco Bell. I did order a chili-cheese burrito and a bean and cheese burrito.
She nailed it!
Meanwhile Tom Arnold set one of our crew on fire.
That was it for me and the paranormal.

Is there any reason to choose the Master Edition instead of the basic version if I want to use this device exclusively as a streamer?
That seems to be the question of the year with this device. Many say no, including the Eversolo I believe. But many think it has better clock so how could it not make a difference. Hans said he heard a bit of a difference. you can see on his youtube channel. He seems to trustworthy just hard to get through his videos awake.

The better clocks should make for a nice improvement using it as a transport or internal dac.

spent a little time with my ES standard edition doing a comparison…
Eversolo > USB > Matrix X-SPDIF 2 > I2S > Pontus II (the way i’ve been doing it)
Eversolo > USB > Pontus II (just to see if the matrix does anything)
There is NO question there is a difference. Wider soundstage, more involving, better better better when going through the Matrix.
I was expecting it to be minor if anything but it is not minor.
What is it doing?

Its adding some Galvanic Isolation. More if LPS is powering Matrix.

That plus the preferred input for all Denafrips DACs is the I2S input.
