Exploration - Creative soundscapes

Yes, when I first heard it, I marked “In the wind” as the track to play.

Try “Private Investigations”, “Love over Gold” for 3D / spatial feels; Track 1 “Telegraph Road” is my favorite

Feels like music of Blade Runner; this CD was the reason I decided to add REL S/3 SHO subs to my system.

This album is amazing! Thanks!

That was entertaining, really filled the room and soundstage extended way beyond the speakers in every direction. Thanks for posting, was an enjoyable 20 minutes.

Great stuff…the others of his albums sound just as good and interesting. Those would have made sense in hires.

Fellow forum dweller Dan Schwartz is no doubt glad you like the bass🤘🏼

A quiet album, but with spooky enveloping 3D.

Great album.

I am streaming White Night now. Your recommendations, combined with my attraction to the cover art and album title enticed me. The first tracks are pleasant and styled to my level of moodiness.

I agree!

My sub proved it doesn’t do too much or too little…and yours? Don’t frighten your children with this!

I’m not someone really “into” soundstage or soundscape . . . but these two vintage Columbia recordings really do give a holographic sonic image in my system.

Yes indeed they do!

And of the vintage ones this one, too (I just put it on the platter after you posted):

You even notice it through 3 doors sitting on the toilet. Reverb certainly plays a role here, too.

Indeed. Every time I see that album cover or movie poster though. . . I think of Lee Remick and get distracted.

Didn’t even see the film or know about her…
