Misha Mengleberg’s Instant Composers Pool ICP 021 Yi Yole, with saxophonist Dudu Pukwana and percussionist Bennink. Spontneous and free with an underlying lyricism. For example the second track The KIng of Weasal is Called Easel. A 1978 September performance from the ICP Jubilieum Festival at Uithoorn, Holland.
Late start to listening but did catch up on some TV watching.

It is COLD today, for May.
My listening schedule has been morphing lately as with the passing of my dog I’ve been waking up later and my wife has been waking up earlier and I don’t now generally get to dive into listening first thing.
Today we got to meet with one of Lucinda’s sisters and brother-in-law who live about 90 minutes away here locally for lunch, which was really nice. Lucinda’s sister Ann has been blind about 20 years and her husband Chris is the role model of a loving spouse and takes incredible care of her while also having a demanding job. I love these people.
Now I’m finally in front of the main system. I started off with
Keith Jarrett “New Vienna” ECM cd
and moving on to
Tom Harrell “Moving Picture” High Note cd
