Excellent Miles, won’t really leave you hanging.
10" version?
Yes.
I really like this album. I’m surprised it doesn’t get mentioned more often in the places where Miles’ music gets mentioned.
I only have digital versions which include non-reverb selections–which I prefer to listen to.
It is exceptional as is the film. IME most discussion here and elsewhere tends to focus on the “warhorses”. Easy enough, but there is some wonderful music in the “tall grass”. Seek it out.
Keith Jarrett Trio “Bye, Bye Blackbird” ECM cd
How interesting that the photo of Miles on the cover is so instantly recognizable! Great disc.
Coltrane The Classic Quartet - The Complete Impulse! Studio Recordings, digging Jimmy Garrison’s bass solo on Joy (Second Version) on this most important CD box set.
In this case I love the reverb. I think it perfectly defines the mood.
I used to. But no longer. My current system reproduces that reverb like a heavy rain over the music. Former systems didn’t seem to resolve it so clearly.

Starting off the morning with Bill Evans “Turn Out the Stars” disc 4. Seems perfect for the quiet stillness of the neighborhood and my mind.
Released in 1974 on the Groove Merchant label, Buddy Rich The Last Blues Album Volume 1. The highlight here on this energetic set is Buddy Rich, Jimmy McGriff, and Illinois Jacquet.
