Listening to disc 1. Rachel is quite accomplished, and natural regarding the cello concertos. I just need to adjust to the violin vice cello.

My first music of Thursday is the bonus selection on the Grateful Dead (HDCD remaster) cd of “Wake of the Flood” that has Bob Weir demoing on acoustic guitar the “Weather Report Suite.” It’s quite a showcase.

OK, after listening for a bit, gotta say that I have the same complaint that I have about most baroque instrumental small group music: after a while they all sound the same.

No argument, It is an adjustment for me that is all. I have a strong liking for the sound of the cello.
This is the only Tangerine Dream album that I’m familiar with and I’ve played it countless times over the last 40 or so years that I’ve owned it.
