I’m using Chrome
The bright menu is overbearing when the dark mode is enabled.
There are double scroll bars
The bright white footer in dark mode is also overbearing
There are double headers

Trying to use Chrome it’s a complete mess.
I’m using Brave and the light background. No issues.
Using Safari on my iPad, I do not have a menu bar or a footer, and only a single scrollbar. Instead of the traditional menu (home, shop, support etc. – which I found useful) there’s just one line with the PS audio logo. When I finish reading a thread, I have to double tap the logo to get back to the screen where the topics are listed. I prefer the older set up.
I also use dark mode and agree that the white rectangles are very bad in this situation.
Such different behavior on various devices must make software folks crazy.
The Matra for web development is write it once, debug it in every web browser.
TBH, I am trying to figure out what problem this “solution” was trying to address. All WAS well, IME.
The scroll bars scroll different screens.
I know how to fix it, switch back the previous version before it was wonky.
That’s because you’re on the wrong page. Try going to This link. What we did was place the forum in an iframe that lives on a new page within the website. Thus, you never leave the PS Audio website and now the menu works as every other page on the website.
As some of you know, these forums are hosted on a 3d party platform called Discousre. It’s the best forum software out there today, but it is a 3d party service we pay for, hosted on their servers and presented on a completely different website. The old PS menu that was atop this page was a clone of the the real PS website menu, made to appear as if you were still on the PS website.
This has always bothered me so now that I am the one responsible for the website (our developer left for greener pastures), it’s time to fix it.
Part of the switchover will be a redierct from the old website address most of you are on: forum.psaudio.com which is the content in the iframe (minus any PS navigation menus), to its new home Community forum – PS Audio where the menus will return.
The GIANT footer is a problem on every MacOS browser I have tried so far (Safari, Chrome, Brave, Firefox).
You can scroll the page so that it is not taking up 2/3 of the screen but it is a bit of a “problem”.
Still wonky, can not consistently respond to posts or personal messages. Pretty buggy IMO.
Similar scenario!! What became of HOME click-on ?? It’s more difficult to navigate…
Can you check again to see if I fixed it or not. This should be working now without a giant footer.
My only comment is that in my old gig we did software and firmware upgrades on a parrallel system to ensure bugs didn’t get in the way of enjoying the platform. Sooner or later it will get sorted, just like the PMG series bugs. I did not anticipate A-Eye to be so intrusive in a less than helpful manner. I’ll probably bypass the Forum for a while, some day it will sort itself out….![]()
please try it now as I believe I have the bugs worked out now.
Still buggy as all get out, access is inconsistent. Possibly it could be it is incompatible with Duck-Duck-Go.
Thanks Paul. I can’t get rid of the intrusive AI assistant box.
