Fuses

You need to come up with an easier way to change fuses (than getting that f’ing cover off) or a product that does not go through fuses like eating popcorn. (And yes, I have it plugged into a P5 power supply).

What product and how often to you blow a fuse?

No PS Audio product I have ever owned eats fuses.

I owned the Perfectwave DAC which did it several times. I traded that in for the Directstream which has not done it yet but my transport blew a fuse the other day. I have to be very careful if I move the unit and plug it in elsewhere or change any connections on the back.

That doesn’t sound right at all. I have several PS Audio pieces and only the BHK 250 blew a fuse, and that turned out to be an improperly spec’ed fuse (was 1.6 A now 2.0 A). I would check your wall voltage, perhaps your voltage is too high due to a faulty transformer? Seems a stretch, but you never know …

Wow, that’s one we don’t hear on the forum!
