Google Smart power

I’m planning to replace 3 power strips with Google smart strips to shorten the time to turn everything on and off. I have a Powerplant P12 that plugs into a dedicated 10ga power line. To power on the PP12 I remove a front cover board and reach in for the switch. Does anyone have any experience with leaving the PP12 in on position and using a smart receptacle to turn it on and off? I’m guessing this will not work.

It should work. A switch is a switch. Unless the smart switch injects a lot of noise that the PP can’t filter. Or the smart switch isn’t made from silver wire. Or cryogenically treated nanoparticles suspended in liquid kryptonite. Just pay attention to the amp rating of the smart switch.
