Well stated, and I concur, fans should not hesitate to pick-up a copy. Strong performance and sound.
Just picked it up. Thanks.
I hadnât really thought about this albumâs availability in a long while, but a quick Google search didnât bring up any ârecentâ reissueâs. I acquired this as a half speed master back in the early 80âs . Still sounds good to this day.
I grabbed it you have a great track record (pun intended) with with me thanks again!
It doesnât matter if you chose the old MFSL UHQR or the Speakers Corner Reissue. This is one of the best classical recordings of all time.
I donât know any classical CD or SACD that only comes close in sound quality, however there are several of those old AAA releases on that level.
Since a certain vinyl rig level itâs not easy to hear classical generally from digital for me I must say (although the modded DS sounds great generally). It was rather the opposite until some time ago because the special, quality of the vintage recordings didnât fully get through. Those AAA releases are so spectacular and unfortunately if you hear the same recording on SACD you hardly experience anything of it. Buy this LP if you have a turntable, the Speakers corner is still available for every budget.
Ordered Speakers Corner copy from Canada last night. Thanks for the tip.
Incredible artist, several fantastic albums available, this one also is a sound quality gem. Hopefully not too expensive meanwhile, but if it is, youâll like the CD, too.
I always enjoyed this Opus 3 issue (among others). I have a very small LP collection, but always enjoyed a few Opus 3, Sheffield Lab, and Mofi issues. Unfortunately, Opus 3 never issued this on CD that I am aware of.
Many will know this Tuck & Patti / Dreams album. Fantastic music and exceptional sound on the Windham Hill label. The LP version for whatever reason was only available in South Korea. Itâs not crazy expensive and itâs worth it.
Another great LP of them, Love warriors was widely available and is comparably great.
