In Sturgis…at a bar called One Eyed Jacks… listening to a great cover band “Gilded Ages” playing 80s and 90s rock. A far cry from my usual stomping grounds but all sorts of music moves people.

Peter Hook and the Light at First Avenue tonight. Best show I have seen in 35 years.

Boz Skaggs and The Robert Cray Band at Interlochen Michigan on August 13th. A really fantastic venue. Robert Cray was spectacular.

Robert Cray is exceptional.
I saw him play as a guest with Eric Clapton and he stole the show.

That’s not to diminish Cray’s class, but for me there are many who’d steal Clapton the show

We saw Robert Cray at our favorite local small venue and were also blown away by the performance and the sound. Some of the best live mixing I’ve heard.

Went to see Echo and the Bunnymen tonight at the Fillmore in Minneapolis. Had zero expectations. It was so completely wonderful!
