Peter Frampton Never Say Never Tour 2023 in San Francisco
Date: August 15, 2023

“Hello San Francisco!” was the first voice to us, audience after playing the first song. Is exactly the same he said 50 years ago in San Francisco, recorded on his album “Frampton Comes Alive!”. I’ve listened the record over and over for the last 50 years and now I heard it for real. It was a special moment.

What a great concert and incredible musicians, especially Zenon and Efwards. Very good sound in a smaller jazz club.

PINK FLOYD PROJEC /Denmark
Small concert with PINK FLOYD PROJECT 1500 people. 3 hour long first set mix from the different records. 2 sets only from The Dark Side of the Moon.

The Scandinavian Pink Floyd Project is long established as one of the biggest and most popular live acts in Denmark. The upcoming Tour marks the TSPFP´s 20 years Anniversary, featuring the entire Dark Side Of The Moon album among other Pink Floyd classics and rarities.

The band has toured actively in Denmark and Europe while evolving and finetuning the show. All the Floyd hallmarks are there: quad sound, films, lasers, lights and of course some of the best music produced during the last century. A three hour show that left audiences and critics speechless.

The Scandinavian Pink Floyd Project typically consists of 10 professional musicians and vocalists. A great rock band with guts, intensity and close attention to the details of the Floydian universe. The band is also known for its ability to perform rarities from the early Floyd days with great presence and nerve.

TSPFP tours with a taylored array of screen films, computer controlled lights and lasers along with sound effects and quadrophonic sounds. Everything is held together in a tight package with accurate timing.

Vienna Teng at the Ark in Ann Arbor last Sunday. Fantastic concert and probably one of the best sound wise, mainly because it was a perfect level from start to finish. Haven’t had that experience in a long time. It was an all request show, and she was unfazed by all requests. An amazing memory (like a lot of musicians) and a great connection with the audience. Sorry I only got one photo, my wife gives me the stink eye when I use my phone in concerts …

Found out about her at a store demo of Vandersteen speakers in Ann Arbor about a year ago. Well recorded and nice music.

Interestingly discogs says she’s from Boulder, but her website says Washington, D.C. She went to University of Michigan for a Masters and made a strong connection to Ann Arbor. When she comes to the Ark it sells out quickly. Missed her last year because of that. Bought tickets this year in May!
