I see cars, photography, watches…Soon it will be pets, pizza, and any other thing. Can we bring it back to its roots. There are other forums out there.
There used to be two good pizza places near me. One made pretty authentic NY pie, another about as close as I’ve had in this Country to actual Neapolitan pizza (not portofoglio, but still). They’re both out of business. Central Florida doesn’t know squat about pizza.
Just stay out of the “Eeverything Else” threads…?
Coffee anyone?
Gee you’re strict. Are we permitted to chew gum while we’re here?
We need a pizza thread
There are tools available here that allow one to only see what they want to see. Control your reality as you wish.
I get it. There are plenty of places to discuss all the other things. Not many places where you can discuss audio with like minded people like we have here. Still, taking up space to talk about the other things doesn’t take bandwidth from the audio side of things, ie the important stuff.
Not being serious, just knew this would get some great responses! LMAO!
Maruca’s Tomato Pies in Seaside is delicious! We have good ones here too!
Duh!
Maybe everyone is jumping in to express an opinion just means there isn’t a lot of interesting audio topics floating around on the forum right now. Come on people! We need some controversial audio topics to discuss.
It depends. Can you listen to music and chew gum at the same time? Just don’t chew too hard or it will raise the noise floor. Popping bubbles is straight out!
Exactly! You can’t chew gum and you can’t eat snacks in the listening room for exactly to reasons you list.
I get it. I am tired of writing about audio. Weird.
I think it is time to start doing Puppet Shows about Audio.
Well, NJ and tomato pie is a natural match. There was a place in Chambersburg I used to go to - can’t remember the name. But they had great tomato pie. A couple of good places in Trenton, too.
I have two dogs and they are very cute.
But can you walk and chew gum at the same time?
I donno, all those FUSE and switch and fiber and cray cray priced cables no other forums takes kindly, that’s all I remember reading here. I just turn on my own perception/self-deception filter, problem solved.
Oh, and tomorrow is May the 4th, for all Star Wars audio fans out there.
