I just put my order in - now the wait begins. I’ve really enjoyed the soon to be traded-in MKI so it will be interesting to hear what the MKII sounds like in my system. It will also be interesting to see what happens to the used market for the MKI.

Mine still says processing, but again it was on the 23rd. Given the holiday I get it. But I was really hoping for this week shipping.

just thinking ,I love the sound of my system is the 4K cost from MK1 TO MK11 going to give me that
much of a upgrade pre cost, I have DS TRANSPORT WITH A MK1 a TUBE PRE and TUBE AMPS

Reflecting on all of the comments I have read since the beginning of the beta, and can remember 
, the overarching response has been that the MKII is a major upgrade over the MKI in pretty much every way. Soundstage, instrument realism, space around instruments, pace, and a silkiness in the mids that’s very obvious with voices.
I don’t think I’ve read one negative comment on the sound quality.

The MKII really delivers on the best sources. The DS modded was more forgiving of digital sources of the 80 s when they were still giving wrong vinyl eq on digital sources.
I am still coming to terms with how the MKII addresses early digital sources. Be ready to swap cables and fuses to come to terms with the 179 Altero firmware. It can get very bright and very forward.
Alas, last reported at Paxico, KS at 12:19 am - about 18 hours away. The snow done me in! But it is on its way!
