I’ve been looking at the Synergistic Purple fuses, and they’re listed as Type T (Slow), although your post suggests Type H. I can’t seem to find an H in Purple.

Am I missing something?

As long as it is a slow blow fuse it will be fine.

She got this when I got my new McIntosh 1.25KW amps. Surely she wouldn’t still have envy now?

Forgive me but one forgets who we are dealing with when it comes to opposite sex.

Can anybody point to a reputable site where I can order Synergistic Purple fuses?

Having had my credit card nicked over the holidays thanks to a scam site, I’m a bit leery of outfits that I don’t know.

Thanks!

Th Cable Company is where I buy fuses. They all ship from the fusemakers directly but the do offer discounts if you request it to be reviewed.

I got rid of all my purples for Udio Magic M-1 fuses as better matching my preference or more natural sounding. But did like purples at first.

I agree: The Cable Company, www.thecableco.com is where I have bought all my fuses.

VH Audio is an option. You can check them out here:

Okay, I’ve done good business with The Cable Company before, so I’ll go there.

I believe that someone here suggested stepping up by a value on the fuse, so instead of 1A, go with 1.25A

Is that a good idea, or is it better to stay at the spec’d 1A?

(I guess this thread is a bit longer than I imagined it would be.)
