God, I’m so sorry to hear that @Chops , I really am, I’m just really pleased he had a happy home with his sister for his life. My heart goes out to you guys.

And to you @RonP apologies, I didn’t realise there was more to the thread, got quite choked up reading Chops post. I’m lucky enough to have had a dog when I was younger, they are much better than any human being, they become far more than pets to us, my heart goes to you too. She looks beautiful.

After we lost a dog a few years ago, I was really broken up and I asked my wife why dogs had such a short life. She replied, “Maybe God planned it that way so we could love more of them in our lifetime.” She’s a pretty smart lady!

My heart goes out to you guys too, and Olive rip, our dogs are both 14yrs with one needing constant care (my job) my wife says i need to build up the karma for when i need constant care. As difficult as it is to read this thread, it feels good to know these pets blessed our lives with so much love.

Sorry for your loss. We had two cats that were part Maine Coon and they were part of the family for over 17 years. Very friendly and sweet to us and each other. We had them (Cookie and Cracker) cremated as well with boxes now sitting on the CD rack. They loved music too.

Now have a couple adopted cats one with three legs due to an altercation with a car late at night. The other we found by a river nearby as a kitten and he followed us home.

Hope you find some new family members.
