For all those horses underneath the bonnet to get the car goings seems to look easy, a simple movement of the right foot. But for a human to stop even a slowly rolling car of a ton or so is a different story.

I was honestly running from here and will probably continue to. I thought I had finally reached such a place with mature understanding adults. Whom would not question me. Oh well, such is the internet. I really value my privacy. That is another beauty of the internet. It hurts me none what you folks say. I do not even feel the need to defend myself. I am pretty much gone from here. You folks have proven yourselves well. mind you, not all of you. some of you were indeed civil regarding the mater however not the vast majority of yourselves. Thanks - though really do not understand the rest of your post. Seemed to me like most here are interested in uber-systems - being part of the point of the thread. Not sure who has hurt you. Though you’re certainly welcome to post or not.
I guess I know exactly what of a few things has hurt him and what he thinks how this would have gone on and I understand. What a pity, but thats how things are going predictably.

I have nothing against you, and take your word as truth. I would however, suggest, not talking about how much you spend on components, and, how rich you are. Wherever you go, that will be seen as boisterous, and may lead to resentment. Humble is the word I’m looking for. Not sure why being questioned hurts so much, who cares if Joe Schmo doesn’t believe you?
Good luck with your cheap $600,000 system, and your more expensive $15 million(?) system, and, your 58,000 square foot home! Not trying to be punitive, just making a point.
In my mind the conversation is most beneficial when it is about the music and in what manner one’s system satisfies to that end.

Now I get it. Why people where hostile towards me here. I inadvertently offended people. I was honestly not trying to brag about stuff. I thought I was simply speaking matter of factually. That is just the way I speak. I am not a snob, snoot or otherwise. I just try to be straightforward and concise if not rather dry art times.
I intend to offend no one. Although I can certainly see how some may indeed be offended by this style of verbiage. However it is the furthest from my intent. I only used “numbers” here as a representation of what shall perhaps constitute “high end”. Simply as a baseline. Be it my stuff or someone else’s.
I am well aware that can be misconstrued as rude. Not my intent whatsoever. I actually think pictures sticks it in ones face more! I guess I am just one step removed from society. Nonetheless my sincere apologies for offending anyone,

I wouldn’t be apologetic about anything. Wealth - or a lack thereof - does not make the man. As a young college punk years ago I found myself with a car needing immediate attention in, shall we delicately say, “the bad side of town.” While getting things attended to, I found myself in conversation with the service station manager who, as it turned out, was awaiting trial for possession of pot (this was circa 1970). Turns out he had run an after-hours club that got raided. All of the patrons tossed their stash on the floor and denied knowing anything about it. As the owner of the premises, he became “in possession” by default. Oops.
The group hanging out there offered condolences over his change in financial status, but his reply has stuck with me to this day: “Money only allows you to become who you really are.” He went on to say the if someone is an a-hole, most people will have to hide it as best they can because they need to in order to get by in life. But having a lot a money will allow you to become the biggest a-hole you can possibly be." (And, by extension, vice versa.)
That lesson stuck. I don’t judge folks based on the size of their wallets.
FWIW, most every ultra high-end system I have had the privilege to listen to (I’m not referring to audio shows) has provided me valuable take-aways that I’ve been apply to my own set-up, even if I can’t afford the components made by Unobtanium Corp., be it room construction details, acoustical treatments, audible characteristics to listen for when evaluating gear that’s within reach, etc.
The retirement portfolio doesn’t match those of Warren Buffet, Howard Marks, Ray Dalio, Jeff Gundlach either (to name a few), but what they have to say and share is definitely worth paying attention to.

Nobody here feels offended nor does anybody try to offend you.
There is no obligation to post pictures here. But people do enjoy looking at them, you won’t see many pictures here without likes “harts”.
I would like to ask you to look at it from the bright side.
The Original Post in this thread was posted by somebody who I respect for his hospitality to allow us to enjoy his system as reference.
You fly Right? At least if I read your posts in other threads correctly. For me, these reference systems are like the horizon, they can be taken for orientation, I like to look / stare at them, but know I will never reach it and that is OK.
I think that is what all members of this forum have in common.

Okay this is going to sound ironic at the least. Since I will not post pictures. Although I am not asking anyone to post their own, just link something. I recently obtained this Teddy Pardo USB power box. I want to see inside. One other thing you will learn about me: I would never even dream of taking apart my gear. I see some pics but they are in Chinese? So I am not entirely sure that is it. I will mention I think the price is good on this when considering the other options. I would not say it is “out of reach”. Well, if you add all the mods to it maybe but stock I think it is very good.
I appreciate your folks understanding. If you have ever been held at gunpoint perhaps your perspective would change. I mean being paranoid. I am not famous I just have a good career. My wife as well. Still, people “target” other people I think. Enough has been said about this though. It is just making me sad.
I think that Teddy Pardo coats the inside of his power devices in Epoxy resin so you may not see anything.
