I was accidently sent a PMG 512 which you all know has a built in streamer, and as it so happens I recently bought a Eversolo T8 (I have a SGD) which has all these music services like Radio Paradise, probably my favorite, tune in radio, internet radio etc. How do I access these in the streamer, I already have Quboz connect I subscribed to. I downloaded Bubbleunpn I don’t see or know how to add these services.
Also the T8 has the advantage of EQ and a nice display with vu meters and other neato display stuff, maybe I need to just keep both which would be a stretch since I wanted the PNG PRE not the 512.
Initially the 512 streamer seems to sound better in a bigger, bolder, deeper and maybe a little bass heavy.
I am not aware of a free streaming program that will let you connect to FLAC radio stations like Radio Paradise. I use JPlay for IOS which lets you enter the URL’s for all of the Radio Paradise options as individial radio stations along with any other FLAC or HiRes station you can find. You can try it for free for 14 days to see if it works for you. A lifetime subscription is now $200 and it works great with the T8 and any other streamer I have tried it with. There is a long running JPlay thread on AS.
Thoughts and prayers, now that’s funny, my prayer is that they come up with a good deal since I still want the preamp and I have the AirLens, SGP and SGD that I would need to trade in to even get close to buying both
does Internet Radio streaming from JPLAY works on uPnP to the PMG 512? many months ago i tried and could not get it to work. Radio from foobar2000 worked to stream to PMG 512 via uPNP.
i setup a whole LMS to stream local files and Internet Radio to PMG 512
I’m sure you know but information like radio stations don’t transfer from one device to another on JPlay. You will have to enter the URL’s on each device. Also you can’t play on more than one device at a time.
