Network Acoustics Tempus switch

Maybe we need all stealth Ethernet cables. This is already getting pricey!

I see several types of Stealth Ethernet cables on the price list. Yes, they are all ultra but have different CAT ratings and are with/without tuning ring. Probably just splitting hairs here.

Pricey, yes. Another couple of cables, a switch, another filter. This comes in right about my cost for Dragon XLR’s, something I hope to bring the entire system to a higher level. Or, get the Sakra and be done and not address streaming for a long, long time.

4 am here and the first thing I did is checking into here🙄

Straightwire, please get all accessories mentioned above and report back on which ones work better with MU2. I must get one comes with 8TB SSD so there in one less cable/filter/switch for that path to NAS. Sigh…

To fall asleep again, Donald count with me 1 MU1, 2 MU2, 3 MU3… zzz… zzz…

Of course it’s the most expensive at the bottom. :confounded:

Excellent review, Luca, but I hated it. Just hated it, I tells ya, as now I have to go and get one of the dang things.

Thanks Luca, for such a well-done review.

I hated it too, for the same reason!

Thanks, Murray.

Did you play around with the tuning ring on the Stealth Ethernet cable? I know it is of lesser concern, just wondering and may look into this cable sometime.

Not recently, I need to confess. When I first added it, yes I did. Don’t worry about that!

I only have one response to this.

My understanding is it s a significant improvement over the Innuos Phoenix Net Switch. Tempting, but I am loathe to an array of extra boxes.

I happily lived for 2 years with the PhoenixNET, having also Innuos server/streamers in my system. But I replaced it with the Tempus once I heard it the first evening.
Am I saying that the PNET is dramatically inferior? Not at all!
My ears and my tastes drove me to the decision, easy peazy… (back on pdf review above in this thread if you need more words about that)
