I’ve had a few problems / bugs too -
Upgraded and it fixed the landscape problem, but the eLyric page is about 5mm too high on the iPad (I have an iPad 3) screen such that there is a white gap on the bottom and the clock is in the search box.
I thought I would try and uninstall and reinstall to see if that helped. Bad move. eLyric would no longer find my PWD on the network. I used another UPnP app to find the PWD and then copied the device URL and added a device manually in eLyric. The PWD was accepted as an entry but was greyed out. Rebooting the iPad didn’t help.
I went to the we page for the bridge and reset the UPnP server and then I was able to select the PWD in eLyric.
Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

I worked out a solution for my situation, by erasing my iPhone and restoring from a backup I had from 2 days before I upgraded the elyric app. It has restored the previous version, and I’m back up and running again. May work for those of you who have a pre-update backup.
It works on my iPad mini, but it crashes more frequently than in the past. A reboot of the pwd seems to fix it, but needless to say that is a pain. I agree it sounds great when it’s working.

I've just spoken to Alex at PS Audio. I upgraded my elyric app on my iPhone 5 (still running IOS6.0.2) and it now won't talk to my PW Dac MkII, despite upgrading the bridge (Firmware 2.1.0; Bridge 0.2.14). The elyric app on my iPhone only shows the music library on the iPhone, and doesn't show the library on my NAS, nor the controls for the PW Dac. The display on the PW Dac says 'network connected'. At least I have a CD player and don't just rely on the NAS.
I should have waited to check out the forum before upgrading! Please send an email to all registered owners NOT to upgrade! Alex told me there's no fix at the moment....

IPhone 5, updated and the App is now unfortunately completely useless.

The PWDACII is a great sounding problem.
A great and stable interface is a qualifier in this high end market.
Question
How is it possible that LINN gets this right from the start and PSAudio has such difficulty?
Why is the development and stability of the wireless user interface not seen as core competence, which should be "in-house" PS Audio??
By when do we have a stable and working solution?

Thanks guys. There’s no way to contact all EMM owners or even all PS owners, I wish there were. We are working on the problem now and hopefully it’s an easy fix.
Elyric app is completely useless at the moment. I own an iPad-1 and latest version of Elyric app crashes immediately after chosing Twonky (on QNAP Nas). PlugPlayer works fine, but I prefer Elyric.
Hope something will be done soon to solve this (latest in a long row) problem with PSA-software.

Give up eLyric and go with JRiver or Foobar2000. All we need is firmware that allows SRC, filter, and input source selection options.

Some of us are still prefer not to have a computer running all the time in order to play audio. That's why I bought the PWD/Bridge combo in the first place. I'm not yet ready to give up and play through a computer. I get great sound using MinimServer on a NAS and my choice of control point (usually eLyric, but there are others); the only real issue is lack of gapless playback.

I have been away for 2 days with system on, except amp.
I opened ipad and PWD and EMM were still dark and already selected. I selected an album and presto works like a charm.
Go Figure!!!
It does seem a bit slower between tracks and still skips all my hi-rez tracks.
I don’t see how a “controller” app can affect that? Will have to wait till later in the week to investigate further.
I have to restart my iPad to get Elyric working. Then you have to wait a while until the renderer and source appear.
But there is another fault!
In the menue “Artists” if I go for instance to S and then to Sting. Normally going back, you will be in “S” again, the “improved” app will get you back to the beginning of the alphabet. That is not usefull!
I just hope the fix for the Iphone 5 will come very fast. It should also remember much better that this app is made to work with a Perfectwave DAC ans should not show me in de selected device the iphone! each time I launch the app I have to select the perfect wave.

Just a tip if you want to downgrade your eLyric app…
If iTunes on your computer still has the old version, delete the app from your iPad & then connect it to your PC. You can then install the old app back on to your iPad. Make sure you don’t update the app in iTunes.
For extra peace of mind, right click on the app in iTunes and select “show in Windows explorer”. Make a copy of the old app (2.0.9) to a safe location.

Bridge is buggy requires frequent cold starts and now eLyric iPhone app … what next? Paul, please hire some COMPETENT software engineers if you expect repeat customers. PWD w/bridge is an excellent product but the instability is wearing thin.
I am so unhappy to see how excelent hardware is frustrated by the software, please have this fixed.
Hi All, I am extremely frustrated and unhappy about the user interface software.
The IOS7 problem is another splash in the bucket, which already was very very full.
And to date: I can currently not work with my Ipad III nor with my IPhone 5; Elyric down;
Plug Player half functional. I started listening to CD again due to this!! Absolutely frustrating!!!
Why did PS Audio drop the ball on continuous software development of the user interface?
These are core competences PS Audio should have in house! This cannot be possible!
In the mean while other PS Audio products are produced and sold as if there is no problem.
Paul how do you think many users feel if they buy a product at a price of a nice holiday and the user interface remains crippled? I trust PS Audio will finally take responsibility and fix this problem and strive for continuous development on the user interface. This is about leadership and taking all stakeholders into account.
