New PS Audio speakers?

That speaker is a sexy bastard.

Any word on colors/finishes?

Exciting!

Interesting Star Wars look. In white it appears to be a speaker seeking Darth Vader.

Inquiring minds want to know…
Pricing and availability.

Would have loved to hear these at RMAF or AXPONA in 2021. In my case that’s not to be in 2021. Maybe next year. Just bought and received new speakers with a more traditional look. Apparently the FR-30 power requirement is a minimum of 100 WPC, implying amplification of the M1200/BHK300 sort.

I am on a slightly different path at the moment, with low powered SET amplification as my latest audio experiment.

The real FR-30 stands up (finally):

FYI, y’all.

No wooden IKEA legs?

Bring these to the November show outside of DC, I’d love to give them a listen.

I am amused with the speakers in the background.

What are the dimensions, please?

Those are the FR-30’s grandparents!

I assume you are referring to that on the right, :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Yes, an improvement.

It would be nice to see some insights and comments from the beta testers or those who have heard the finished FR-30.

Link to Paul’s post:

I have to say… I really like this design… reserved my final thoughts when we see real life photos at different angles. But leaps and bounds better than all previous versions, especially the immediate last one with the cheap wooden feet. I think the community deserve some credit pushing Paul and team to this final design.

Question: is this bi-amp-able?

That photo tells the “rest of the story”. The image in Stereophile makes it seem small, even though Paul said it is 60" (five feet) tall. That’s not my idea of a great looking speaker, I like wood, but I’m sure many will find it attractive. It also seems like it would be dominating in a small room, which I have. I really would like to hear it, that is what this is all about, but RMAF is not likely for me this year.
