Can we update the Dectet ourselves? so the tripping issues have been solved now?

As far as I know, no.
No, unfortunately it has to be done by a distributor or factory here in the States. It uses a special type of programmer.

Thanks for the reply Paul, Has the issue of the Dectet shutting down been solved? read a lot online about people complaining about their Dectets shutting/tripping down randomly.

Yes, it was resolved a long time ago. They dealt with that one quite quickly.

Hmmm, The distributor in my country might be having older stock so thats why abit paranoid if i would get one of the defected units. Any idea which production year the units got fixed?
