Yes so good news to report. With everything on cold start the watts is around 550-600 and load 90-95. As time goes on maybe 20-30 minutes later the wattage goes down to about 450 and load down to about 60-70. I guess the Jc5’s have to warm up??? I think I read this in the other thread you pointed out.
I played audio in a loop to test this .
I also put a small fan on the PS12 and now the top is cool to the touch while driving power. Paul told me this couldn’t hurt.
Very good to hear.
Terrance,
My unit connected to my network and I can see that page. I use the IP address that my unit has assigned. How would this help?
Just to make sure the network on P12 is working OK.
PSA server get data from P12 every hour.
This will need PSA to fix it.
I am curious on temperature on your P12 under such load. I guess, those two fans in P12 must be in full throttle.
Yes sir. The unit seems to be working with my local network.
Hey Darth that is very good news… While the JC5 sounds good
stone cold…it seems to me my .02 that the Class A bias takes time
to establish itself…My JC5 usually “comes into its own” at about
30 to 40 minutes…but really improves at the hour mark…
You really have a great amps in your JC5s…
Adding a fan to help draw air up and out of the P12 is a
very wise move…
Thanks for sharing your journey…
Best wishes friend
Unplugging the TV is exactly what I would have done. A regular 450W load is much more sustainable on that puppy! I’ve reached out to one of our web guys regarding your P12 registration with PowerPlay. It should be up and running in no time.
I maintain that the P12 is one tough little dude with a
big heart…!!
Thank you James! I called in this morning as well on the issue before I saw your reply, so please crosscheck tech support.
No worries. You should be set now with PowerPlay now!
Yep it’s working!! Thank you Team PS Audio!
What was the issue James?
Since the site migration, a few of the registrations were lost/started acting a little funky. It’s usually a super easy fix but needs to be done manually.
All good brother!!! Thank you!!
