I love my P15 and my P10, they’re perfect for the systems they are in.
My PPP though started with the dreaded relay clicking. I was trying to ignore it but my wife heard it and said it had to be unplugged. In time I hope to find a P5 at a price I can afford; I need that PPP or P5 size to fit behind the cadenza my wife insists I use.

Definitely! I love my wife and we work things out. I got pretty much a dedicated listening room out of the fact she hated looking at my Samson Ver. 3 rack and my system, but unfortunately the large living room / dining room area I had to leave was a much better room.

I am safe for now! Just turned on the system and Andrea Motis sounded beautiful. I am done with P15.
Until they put the big monster on sale again, I am very afraid.

Think early spring and late summer, March & August and you’ll be good. Keeping an early watchful eye can result in typical savings on the order of 33-34% for select items.

Just kidding!! You are not going to get rid of me that easily. My wife told me she has big plans for a nice trip to Maui and Europe. They are not even in the same direction. So, audio upgrade is in the back burner.
Unless DS MK2 is happening this year. She gave approval some time ago.

Thanks for the suggestion. Last trip quite a few years back to Rome, we did some serious shopping there. The prices (Italian brands, nice stuff) were a lot better than US back then, and the dollar is very strong now. But I am not sure we saved much because we ended up buying more. I am pretty sure she had a few purchases with the price tags still on.

In my experience the secret of shopping in Italy and France is to shop at the end of each clothing season. No self respecting Italian is going to be seen in last year’s fashion which is usually one fashion year ahead of the US.

I think the P15 and P20 must be close in performance. There were several reasons for the P20 for me. I already have a dedicated 20a outlet installed. I used the extra outlets for home theater. The price of a used P20 isn’t much more than a P15.
great idea, the end of season in Italy is still two years ahead in US!
