I hope you are liking the sound and it meets your preferences In my system that distance has lots of PRaT. The one @dchang05 has me using now at 5 inches. Seems to have PRaT and opened up everything. But there are no wrong answers. Have you tried moving back further away. My five inches is measured from back of plug. But with European plugs things might work differently on a Dragon PC.

Yes I pushed the ring a little bit more far from female plug and I find that this is the right position to my ears.
Iām having Mr.Knopfler now in my room, just in front of me playing guitar and whispering so intimately to my soul, each word vibrating in the air and in my mind.
Wonderful and engaging minutes, peace, silent background, clear image, full, natural and warm, instruments in their location I can distinctly hear, the sound is open and extended, details and nuances, attacks and transients. All perfectly balanced. The āmagicā of music, finally!
Analog in my system at its high performance. Do not touch anything, just listen and dream.

Well you better ignore me fast while thereās time. Just in case I find anymore unsightly annoying audiophile engineer nerd tweaks.

Please take a few days for vacation tweaks! Iāll be in CA next weeks and I will force myself to stay away from this forum, but Iām not sure to be able.

What does your son think of the new tweaks since you mentioned his shared music interest?. Sometimes musicians are not tuned to quality as much as music notes?
He usually has fine ears and is able to notice subtle differences. During last days his interests are out of home, heās leaving his old audiophile dad alone, and heās right!
Last time we listened to music together 2 weeks ago, it was for the italian concert of Pearl Jam at the Ferrari circuit in Imola. He said the 10 cords bass guitar was gorgeous while I was thinking like the M-1 fuse. Strange habits!

Great music even improves my golf game. I did not lose one golf ball today which is rare. Knowing I can relax afterwards and listening to my system relaxed my swings too.
Both Freya Ridings and Mark Knopfler never sounded better in my room. For the first time everything sounded right, and I do not have an urge to upgrade.
Then, I promptly asked Jason for another M-1. The comforting thing is I know I can use @vmax tuning ring to fine tune the sound so there is nothing to worry about.

These sorbothane rings (1.5" dia. and .4" tall) I got from Amazon made quite a difference on various PCs. I even tried them under the AQ Dragon 48 HDMI and surprisingly it affects the SQ more than PCs. But it damped the sound too much, so it is not a good application.
The best application so far is putting them under the streamer and its power supply. The streamer SQ has made a significant improvement.
I replaced some of the corks with them under various PCs, I found too many would damp the sound too much. I like them on the transport PC, but not at preamp PC. I have an elevator w/ sorbo-foot supporting Dragon HC already, adding more near the P15 plug did not help. I was able to use the right amount of sorbothane rings to improve the SQ, so this is another valuable tweak for sure.
I need to buy some more. How much for the 70 durometer and what are the thicknesses. My coretec fllors are cork stone then hickory so they are ridgid but squish all my streamering equipment sits on sorbothane but the DC cords might benefit.
Check Amazon for Masmoc Sorbothane Spacer. I believe they are rated 65 duro +/- 5 accordingly to description, not exactly 70. They are reasonably priced.
(They are 70 if you find the right ones).

I may buy a P20. For $100 off Ebay, I bought a PS Adio Ultimate Power Outlet thinking why not for $100. Holy crap, it made a huge difference in my system: clarity and separation. I had to swap my Kimber Kable SilverStreak interconnects for full copper Kimber Kable Heros to tone down the sharpness.

Well P20 is more significant an investment but gives you like 162 more power ports and definitely no sharpness. Plus response to tweaks are for the better for most and provides good equipment protection. You will want 20 amp dedicated service to it.
If the ultimate outlet blew you away you might want to strap yourself in if and when you compare it to a P20!

The 3M absorber helps the apple TV if you cut and place the squares over The IC chips. It helps the picture. Blacks get blacker, whites whiter, reds darker and blues more luminescent. Sharper lines less waviness. It is equivalent to adding better HDMI cable or a better Shunyata noise reduction power cord. The movie streaming sound also improved better highs and deeper more solid bass. A more live sound. I have used the 3m Ab7050 HF extensive ly in all my LPS Supplies, the power regenerator, and tuning rings for my AQ Dragon and Common Ground Whisper power cords, on my router, switch, the UltraRendu, and Matrix DDC. Placement matters keeping over ICs, on power cords usually near male plug, on AQ cords at the IEC. You must listen carefully too much or wrong placement can tilt the highs or two near capacitors or inductors can sound poorly because it will alter inductance of those components because the material is made up of ferromagnetic components.

They easily peel back off without leavinreidue of adhesive. You may want to place with painters tape, the real test might be adhered to a plastic film where they can overlayed or placed in one quick motion.
The other pieces can be used for tuning rings on power cords or other half rectangle pieces placed over top of toroidal transformers in half sections. Some people have just used larger pieces happenstance. Be aware larger cuts might affect wif detrimentally. The material is easy to A vs B test with in solid sections if it changes picture or sound. If a big piece changes sound or picture using a smaller optimized pieces over affected components will work better.

@nikolay, you might also experiment with flipping your power cord powering the AppleTV. I replaced mine with an aftermarket piece, and when I did that the seller gave me that tip to listen to the AppleTV with the power cord in both orientations.
One orientation sounds considerably better than the other. I didnāt test if that holds for the āstockā power cord provided by Apple.
