PerfectWave DAC MII volume jump to 50%

I’m using the AES/EBU input on the PerfectWave DAC MII and the volume keeps jumping to 50%. I typically run it about 80% for my preferred listening level. Any guidance would be great. It’s incredibly annoying.

I would first try turning it off all the way (front switch and back switch) and then unplugging the power cable and all input cables, then let it sit a bit.

A good power cycle should help. Do you have any other inputs hooked up? Also, what do you have powering the unit? Wall, regen, conditioner?
