Not sure if anyone would be interested in reading these three installments I did for an audio blog of mine. But you never know. They cover my thoughts and impressions of the DS DAC and Bridge since I received them back in April. I’m relatively thick-skinned so any comments either yea or nay will not be taken to heart.

All the links look fine to me upon cursory review. It appears your web blocker is a tad too aggressive.

Two older female collegues of mine experienced something of the same when they wrote ‘Sluttdokumentasjon’ in the subject field of an email. This means ‘Final documentation’ in Norwegian.

The filter reacted on ‘Slut’ as part of the ‘Sluttdokumentasjon’.

We really spent some time sorting this out :)

Hi Elk,

I agree that all looks okay when reading from home. That blocker is the 1st time I’ve seen it trigger at work so it must be seeing something it doesn’t like but I cannot see myself. Just one of the funny ol computer things I guess.

Thanks for the 3 part review Joe. When my Bridge II arrives I may borrow your expertise to make sure I am properly setting up JRiver/NAS/Bridge/DS DAC combo. As I mentioned in another thread, my goal is to continue to run JRiver on my server but have the Bridge receiving data from the NAS via ethernet. I know I can put Minimserver on the NAS, but I haven’t found an interface I like nearly as much as JRiver/JRemote.
