My sister in law asked if I’d run out of objects to image. Not in one lifetime!
How can I make my iPhone 16 Pro pictures look like yours?
@RedRiver Are those 3-D advertising installations convincing in person? Are some of those images Shibuya Crossing or am I incorrect?
Yes that was the 3-D advertising in Shinjuku district, pretty lively; We went to Shibuya Crossing a few days earlier and I think some photos were shared in earlier posts. We stayed in Koyoto longer than we did in Tokyo, barely scratched the surface. Overall a very pleasant trip, wife and I talked about when we retire we may consider having longer stays in Japan, maybe in some rural areas.
Nice!
It was also the scene for a movie, I recall.
“Inferno” - Tom Hanks??
Yes, that’s the one!
Nothing suspicious or externe when you were there? ![]()
That movie has yet to be made!
“One of My Top 5 Extreme Hikes”, we undertook a few years ago - Angels Landing, Zion National Park.
An extreme series of switchbacks at Walters Wiggles takes you to the last push - A razor thin ridge line you traverse before summiting the top. I’m proud we pushed ourselves to experience this thrilling hike of a lifetime!
“The Monks of Siem Riep”
- Cambodia
Every morning these monks would walk in procession down the small streets of Siem Riep, to gather food donations from the nearby businesses and residents. The local people felt it an honor and their duty to help their neighboring monasteries survive. It was quite touching to see the monks bless their donators.
