PS Audio PerfectWave Power Base, is it useful? kindly asking for info

Good Day,

Found a pricey PS Audio PerfectWave Power Base on canuckaudiomart?

is it worth it to purchase that? is for turntable, bad floor of bad power?

I read some thread, but my inglish is not that good, so could you explain? I did not find the manual? since my floor is in concrete and my turntable is using Dishwasher floor noise canceller, what gain this device will provide or was created for?

thanks for helping!

I use the PwoerBases. I mostly use them unconnected electrically, though I do use one “plugged in” as well.

I find that when used for physical isolation they do free components from a lot of vibrational influence. The result I find is mostly a cleaner treble and perceiving room and space details. It is an improvement that may be system dependent, and is not HUGE, but more than “subtle.” When used for electrical isolation I find the resutls vary between different components. When I was using a tubed preamp, I found the results to be quiet pleasant, tightening the bass a bit and opening up the midrange a bit. With my PS Audio Phono Converter I find a very similar result, and I use the PowerBase that way at this time. With other components the overall presentation leans a bit towards the analytical more than to my taste, though the PowerBase is effective for physical isolation.

Here is a review that I think describes and expresses the PowerBase well, if not exactly my own experiences.
