Nutha PSA Newbie Q: Is the PS Audio Perfectwave AC-10 Power Cable suitable from the wall socket to a power regenerator (a P15 or a P10) or is it better between the power plant and the component?

The consensus seems to be you should place the “best” PC you can afford between the outlet and the regenerator, first.
Fiddle around with what you have, and let your ears decide.

Mahalos - am looking to buy a used cable and my main concern is that that specific cable wouldn’t be insufficuent in terms of the power draw into the P10
Consider the P10 the functional equivalent of an amplifier.
Any PC fit for powering a solid state amplifier will work with a P10.
FYI, the P10 does not require a 20 amp (C-19 inlet) PC.

Make sure get the appropriate length plus “some”. When and if you reconfigure your system you will appreciate the additional length.

There are some fake PS Audio power cords around out there. If you’re buying used, be sure it’s from a reputable seller. If you search the forum, you can find some threads about these fakes and ways to perhaps identify them.
