PST or Jays CDT3 Mk3?

Of course there is one at TMR now.

Thanks! I’ll try the Qstab after the Jay’s settles into my brain for a couple weeks.
And my DAC is a DSD so I’ll use I2S to connect. (A PS Audio I2S model 12)

Adding tax and shipping, their price makes no sense.

I had the Qstab. Gave it to a person on the forum. Can’t recall any sonic benefit but it was really cool to have. Made from human bone. Kuhl.

Speaking of CDs, I got to hear a CD player today that I would buy if I was made of money.
My second time hearing the Luxman D10X. With Wilson Alexia 2s, D’Agostino integrated, everything about this thing was magnificent. But no, I can’t afford $16,500. for a CD player.

That is less than half the price of a good one.

But you don’t have the experience to know what good really sounds like. It’s all good.

CDT2 MK3 is on the shelf, still ice cold.
First observations:
Yes, it’s built like a tank.
If you are affected by the tactile feedback of things, the top slide feels exceptionally luxurious.
The heavy metal remote is equally beautiful and is on par with the Pass Labs remote for use as a weapon.
The bottom plate of the remote has six, not four or even three screws.
The price, net of taxes and shipping is roughly $2K.
The manual states 400 hours are needed, so after 30 minutes I’ll say it’s doing it’s job nicely.

Looks very nice.

And it appears the Qstab clamp made it on Saturday (safely, I hope). The CDT2 Mk3 represents a tremendous value in CD transports. Never had an issue with mine and the CDT3-3 has been the same.

Qstab is ready for hour 401. And btw, it’s playing thru your DSD MK1, which just keeps soldiering on.
